ATRC TRAINS MUNICIPAL OFFICIALS AND CIVIL SOCIETY
FOR PARTICIPATORY
In order to increase the citizens participation in the local governance, the ATRC trainers on the 20th and 21st of May in Dragash, have conducted the two day training on “Participatory Governance”.
Officials of the municipal assembly and representatives of the Civil Society in Dragash, participants in this training, had a chance to discuss the role of the Participatory Governance, participation of the citizens in the local governance and mechanisms of the citizens’ participation. Training was presented in printed media as well.

Training “Participatory Governance” is one of the activities on the “Multilevel Social Conflict Resolution” project, financed by The Olof Palme International Center, which seeks to assist Local Government and civil society to foster and strengthen their relationships in order to foresee and respond to their communities needs better.
