ATRC organized a training "participatory budgeting" in the municipality of Junik
ATRC during March 2011 has held two-day training on "Participatory Budgeting". Participants in the training were members of the Municipal Assembly, municipal officials and representatives of Civil Society in the Municipality of Junik.

Training focused on the need to involve citizens in participatory budgeting process as a mechanism that enables citizens to take part in decision making to the stage of the municipal budget planning to its implementation.
ATRC this year will continue to organize training "participatory budgeting" in 10 municipalities of Kosovo: Prizren, Pec, Gjakova, Klina, Decani, Istok, Suva Reka, Orahovac, Malisevo and Dragash.
These activities are a continuation of the project "Social Conflict Resolution" financed by Olof Palme International Center. ATRC in 2009 and 2010 with the support of 11 municipalities in Kosovo and in close cooperation with local community representatives, representatives of villages and citizens have identified the requirements and recommendations of citizens.
