300 children certified as Environmental Ambassadors
Prishtina, April 1, 2010 - Under the applause of the small hands of children from all municipalities of Kosovo in the Red Room of the Faculty of Philology at a ceremony organized by "ATRC" in cooperation with the U.S. Embassy in Pristina, recieved certification 300 Ambassadors of the Environment Toddlers.
Organization "ATRC" has certified as "Ambassador of the Environment" 300 students in fifth grade, who are directly engaged in environmental protection in Kosovo.

Certification became the motto "Children in environmental protection.
The ceremony was attended by Henry Scott foreign affairs official from the Department of State, who in the words of the case said: "Now I have great pleasure to be part of this project and come here to see the participants of this program, or children who are the most beautiful and most important of this society. "

While following the program got the word the representative of the Ministry of Environment, Malsiu Muhammad, who said that the real contribution will come from citizens.
"We as a ministry we tried to follow them and how important is the environment and preserve the environment should be." He indicated that projects such as this are conducted with elementary school students are very appropriate, through the generation which comes growing influence of the parents and to all other citizens to have a better environment.
Last year the U.S. Embassy and State Department have provided a fund of 77 thousand dollar organization "ATRC" to implement this project. (Kosovo Info)
