Inter-municipal Conference
"Act seriously-Prevent Hemorrhagic fever!"

Organized by the ATRC in the framework of regional project of Balkan Environmental Life Leadership Standard   on 24 June 2010  was held inter-conference in the Municipality of Malisheva with the theme: "Act to Prevent seriously, hemorrhagic fever".

Roundtable was intended to further awareness of our society, our institutions or decision to increase the efficiency of services and implementation methods in hemorrhagic fever prevention and reduction or removal of cases that could end with fatality.

Present at the conference were Prof. dr. Ruzhdi Pllana-BELLS Movement, Dr. Jusuf Dedushaj-National Public Health Institute, Prof. dr. Salih Ahmeti, Clinic of Infectious QKU Prishtina,  Skender Hoti, Department of Health and Social Welfare, Rexhep Mazreku - Deputy Mayor of Malisheva, Zymer Mrasori - Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning and attended by representatives from the Municipal Assembly of the Municipality of Malisheva, representatives of public services, representatives from the Department of Social Welfare, Physicians Family Medicine Center in the municipality of Malisheva,  civil society representatives of the municipality of Malisheva and from the municipality of Rahovec and various TV stations in Kosovo, who talked openly problems in hemorrhagic fever in Llapushes region and steps that are taken up to now to solve this problem.

 Conclusions drawn from the table of inter-communal table:

• Establish a national council to implement the national strategy include: Ministry of Health, Environment and Spatial Planning, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, National Institute of Public Health, Municipalities.
• Republic of Kosovo has the potential human resource that can work on increasing the efficiency of the relevant services;
• Promoting health education
• Organize a national conference on the treatment of hemorrhagic fever disease
• To provide institutional support to vulnerable areas with special emphasis on the municipality of Malisheva.
• To provide ongoing support to communities;
• The request support from OBSH;
• To measure the radio-activity;
• To ingage also KSF in implementing the activities of DDD on the ground after hemorrhagic fever disease are considered Bio-terrorism
• To support the QMF experts such as epidemiologists and Disease Prevention;
• To prevent environmental pollution and to applie the environmental standards  in accordance with the EU-countries
• To have medietik presentation of scientific and medical commentary, the television debates organized and placed propaganda in the media advisory that work toward awareness of citizens on various measures affecting the prevention of hemorrhagic fever.
