CALL FOR PLAN OF ACTION FOR CLIMATE CHANGE FOR WESTERN BALKANS

Organized by the Regional Civil Society Movement in the Western Balkans - Bells, this movement made up of experts dedicated specifically to environmental issues in Prishtina, held press conferences on the topic: "Call for Action Plan on Climate Change for the Western Balkans", in this conference were also present the board of Bells movement.

At the conference was presented the document which was addressed to the President of Kosovo Mr. Fatmir Sejdiu, Prime Minister of Kosovo Mr. Hashim Thaci and President of the Parliament  Mr. Jakup Krasniqi. This document aims to make additional regional pressure on decision makers and to maintain and improve the quality of life and work for present and future generations in Kosovo.

The conferences coincides with World Summit being held in Copenhagen from  7 to 8 December, 2009, where world leaders and decision makers are discussing and making decisions on climate change. The World Summit is very important for the future and preserving the planet, for our countries and region in general. Movement Bells will present its views on this important global event that addresses climate change.
