Young Environment Ambassadors – US Embassy in Prishtina

During 2010, as part of the project: “Young Environment Ambassadors”, supported from US Embassy in Prishtina, ATRC administered and delivered 60 small grants to 60 elementary schools in 30 Municipalities, in order to support pupils green initiatives and advocacy campaigns in school and municipal level.

The main goal of these small grants was enforcing, motivating and engaging the pupils from elementary schools in advocacy initiatives, focused on environment and to establish one national network of Young Environment Ambassadors, which will be engaged permanently on green initiatives in schools and municipal levels.
