United States Agency for International Development (USAID)- East West Institute- IREX/KCSP- Civil Society Programs
Over the six year period, ATRC was implementing partner of East-West Management Institute-KNAP (2002-2005) and with IREX/ KCSP (2005-2008) funded by USAID. Both programs aim was focusing on strengthening Kosovo Civil Society through capacity building (training, consultancy and coaching), advocacy, information, and grant giving.
Main advocacy campaigns lunched from ATRC are: “Get out and Vote” campaign for the election 2004 “Avoko” Network established by ATRC, initiation of “Code of Conduct for NGOs”, initiation of “Law on Pension Insurance”, etc.
ATRC has started to administer the Grant component of KCSP starting from October 2006
till April 2008. During this period there were eight rounds of grants administered: five Partnership and Networking grant rounds, two rounds in Grassroots Advocacy and one so called special round for Non – Partisan Elections Related Initiatives for Local and Parliamentary Elections 2007.
During this time there were 339 project proposals received, out of which 69 were approved. Below see the table with figures of the grants administered by ATRC:
