SIGNED AGREEMENT OF UNDERSTANDING FOR ADVOCACY COALITION "AMBASADORS OF THE ENVIRONMENT"

"Ambassadors of the Regional Environment - for a different environment" - was named The roundtable, held on May 7-8, in Prishtina, organized by the Advocacy Training and Resource Center, in collaboration with the Regional Environment Ambassadors - REA.

Government, representatives of civil society, political parties, various businesses in Kosovo, etc.. were present at this conference, were they discussed the challenges and problems which affect the environmental situation in Kosovo, and was reviewed in the future possibilities to organize joint activities inter-sector to be oriented towards improving the situation on the environment in Kosovo and the region.

Important in this table is considered the signing of the Agreement of Understanding for Coalition advocacy "Ambassadors of the Environment" which guarantees the promotion and advocacy of environmental issues, increasing cooperation at the local level cross-sectoral, and exchange of experiences in environmental policies in the entire territory Kosovo. This project which will last two years - supported by the Dutch Embassy.
